Steel Storage Racks

They are currently evaluating their Steel Storage racks, and have engaged us to design, analyse, and supply manufacturing drawings.

Don’t just talk the Torque (…sorry)

We were asked to design and detail a replacement Torque Reaction Arm for JLR’s Solihull FA1 Facility.

This involved site measure, proposal scheme, draft manufacturing drawings, F.E.A, Finished detail drawings, Exploded view Assembly drawings, and documentation.

Grand Design for Grand Central

GMDesign Solutions were asked to supply manufacturing drawings for a mezzanine platform for a pump-house project for Birmingham’s Grand Central Train station.

A rapid turnaround of drawings was required, and the project was supplied, installed and delivered on time.

JLR Castle Brom EMS work

We provided the design resources for an engine delivery system and efficient maintenance access platform upgrade. The project was taken from the requirements stage and produced concept design and final designs all in 3D and 2D for approval by the customer. Once satisfied, work progressed with the detailed design, manufacture and delivery ready for installation.

Keeping within tight deadlines and strict requirements AIE has created a bespoke EMS track support and maintenance walkway system that completely fulfills the customers’ needs.

A passage to India

One of our customers had an enquiry for some mechanical handling equipment in Pune, India.

We were involved in the conceptual layouts and machine specifications, and the full order will hopefully be placed sometime in 2017.

Going Underground

GMDesign Solutions were asked to design and detail a Door transport frame for one of the Maintenance departments for the London Underground Jubilee Line.

The trolley has 4 compartments; two for new door assemblies, and two for the old assemblies. The trolleys were made to speed up maintenance down-time and reduce manual handling issues.

Robot Access Platform

We were asked to design two High-level access platforms to be mounted onto an existing crane system. Both platforms had to be retractable to enable operator access without compromising the normal working parameters of the Robots

Fully guarded approach

After a routine H&S inspection, one of our customers was asked to provide extra perimeter guarding around a large production machine. A site survey was carried out, the basic design agreed, and then the guards were all designed, manufactured and installed within 2 weeks… just before the H&S follow-up visit.
