Smooth Operator

We were asked to design a special hand-held tool for a prestigious Car manufacturer to enable the gap on a car door bonnet to be checked effectively. A back-plunger dial indicator was incorporated to give the operator a logged value of any deviations in tolerance.

Taking the Dust out of Industry!

We were asked to design and detail a series of dust extraction enclosures and tunnels within a very short space of time. Our previous knowledge and experience meant that this could be achieved with minimum fuss.

Marriage time at JLR Solihull

GMDesign Solutions were contacted to supply design and detailing resource to Expert Automation for the new Marriage area – where the vehicle chassis is connected to the body.

Access to the new Marriage area consisted of three platform levels, all interconnected and adhering to JLR’s ECPL system.

Ramp upgrade

Varlowe Industrial were asked to upgrade and certify a Steel Vehicle Access / Inspection ramp. So they called on GMDS to survey, specify and detail the required new parts, and supply the manufacturing detail drawings.

Pressing engagement

We were asked to design and detail a 100T Press for a well-established local Press manufacturer.

All the work was carried out on time and within budget including Stress Analysis of the Platten plate.

BMW Access

GMDesign Solutions were asked to design a ladder access hatch. The pivoted hatch provides a visual barrier whilst still allowing access when required.

GMDesign Solutions provide a rapid turnaround of conveyor side guides and infill panels, with work carried out to suit AML’s tight Installation schedule of their new state-of-the-art production facility at Gayden.
